Meet Meghna Lama, one of the USYC 2015 members.
Meghna is a Transgender female working as human rights advocator for LGBTI. She is strongly involved in modeling field and is well known as a transgender model from Nepal after winning the Miss Transgender Nepal (miss pink) at 2010. She has represented Nepal at international platform (miss international queen). She is a social worker by interest who not only helps and works for the welfare of LGBTI communities, but also for disadvantaged and minorities group. Diligent Meghna also has her own restaurant called “Pink Tiffany” , which made a history in Nepal as it is the very first restaurant in the country opened by a transgender.
